Dr Anne has traveled to 100+ countries for cultural research, with several long-term studies in progress. The 100 Countries Project has 3 phases: Phase I: Local Experience, or site visits [completed]; Phase II: Reflection [in progress; see our BLOG]; Phase III: Outcomes. These include:

  • a 7-book series on Intercultural Competency by region;
  • the further informing of our current training programs [see below] as well as new ones in development to be delivered both onsite and online;
  • the grounding of Dr Anne’s counselling practice with expatriates, intercultural couples, and Third-Culture Kids, as well as her consultative practice with multicultural corporations;
  • contribution to 3 global projects currently co-facilitated by Dr Anne for the BPW community: Intercultural Dialogues: UNESCO Platform, International Mobility: Expatriate Empowerment, and Women, Peace & Security: UN1325;

From New York, Dr Anne has lived abroad since January 2005, primarily in East Asia as well as in Europe and UK. She has traveled to 100 countries for the purpose of cultural research, and is an active member of Business & Professional Women International with a network of colleagues in 100+ countries. Dr Anne has also founded 4 companies and co-founded 3 schools, in both North America and East Asia. She is consulted widely and presents regularly; to date, she has published 3 books, 3 book chapters, over 200 articles in 14 publications, 12 columns, and her doctoral thesis, with one completed book manuscript pending publication and a 7-book series on Intercultural Competency currently in progress.
